Follow these simple steps to configure UploadsPro and start accepting file uploads from your customers.
This guide will walk you through:
Time needed: 5 minutes
After installing UploadsPro from the Shopify App Store, you'll see the Setup page automatically.
Click the button that says "Install App Block". This opens a new tab with your theme editor.
In the theme editor that just opened, click "Save" in the top-right corner. That's it!
Go back to the UploadsPro tab and click "Enable App Embed". Another theme editor tab opens.
Find the UploadsPro toggle switch and turn it ON. Click "Save".
The app is now installed on your theme. You won't need to do this again unless you change themes.
In UploadsPro, click "Dashboard" in the left sidebar.
Click the "Add Field" button in the top-right corner.
Give your field a name, like "Logo File" or "Custom Design".
Select what type of files customers can upload:
On the free Basic plan, new fields are restricted to images. Upgrade to Professional to accept documents or any file type.
Choose which products should show this upload field:
Click "Save" at the bottom.
Your upload field is now live on your store.
Open your online store and go to a product where you added the upload field.
Scroll down the product page. You should see your upload field with an "Upload File" button.
Click the button and upload a test file.
Add the product to your cart and complete a test order.
You can now accept file uploads from customers and access them easily.
